AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Aram R. Akunts was born on 25 February, 1968 in Yerevan. In 1995, he graduated from Yerevan State Medical University. In 1997, he completed his clinical residency in oncology at the Department of Oncology of the National Institute of Health, RA. From 1997 to 1999, he worked as a surgeon in the Metsamor regional hospital. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a surgeon in the department of general and endocrine surgery at Erebuni MC. From 2000 to 2001, he worked as a surgeon in the department of abdominal surgery at the OSC. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as a surgeon in the department of general surgery at Saint Nerses Mets MC. Since 2004, he Has been working as a surgeon in the department of general surgery at Kanaker-Zeytun MC. Since June 2009, he is a surgeon in the department of general and abdominal surgery of the ArtMed MRC.
